1. Eligibility
- The program is open to all Hair 2 Go clients aged 16 years or older.
- A single cardholder (aged 16+) may register on behalf of a family unit.
2. Enrollment
- Enrollment is free and available in-store.
- It's best to use one loyalty card per family unit, especially when all services are paid for together in a single transaction. However, the same card can also be used when services are paid for separately or at different times.
- Please note that only one loyalty card may be used per transaction; multiple cards cannot be combined in a single transaction.
- Replacement cards are available in case of loss or damage, and points will be transferred upon verification of the cardholder’s identity.
3. Earning Points (Hairmiles)
- Clients are grouped into one of nine client types based on age or school year (definitions available in-store or upon request).
- Hairmiles are tracked separately for each client type.
- For each paid haircut associated with a client type, one Hairmiles point is earned.
- After five qualifying haircuts, the sixth haircut for that client type is eligible for a 50% discount on the cut portion.
- Points are non-transferable between client types or cardholders.
- Only haircut services are eligible for points. Retail purchases, treatments, and promotional packages are excluded unless explicitly stated.
- If a technical error stops Hairmiles from being added during your visit, the points will be added once the issue is fixed.
- Hairmiles can also be earned on haircuts, including thermal + cut services. Hairmiles Points can also be added for standalone blow wave or thermal services, even without a haircut.
4. Redeeming Points
- After five qualifying haircuts for a specific client type, the sixth haircut is eligible for a 50% discount on the cut portion of the service.
- Rewards must be redeemed within 12 months of being earned.
- Clients may choose to delay redemption and use the reward at a later visit within the validity period.
- Only one 50%-off reward may be used per service. Rewards cannot be combined to create a free service.
- Example: If two family members each qualify for a 50% discount during the same visit, both rewards may be redeemed.
- If a technical error prevents redemption during a visit, the reward will be carried over to the next eligible appointment.
- Rewards may not be used in conjunction with other promotions unless explicitly stated.
- Hairmiles and senior discounts are accepted on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
- The Hairmiles card can be uploaded to your preferred card app and scanned at payment. Simple instructions for uploading the card are available on our website at Hair2Go.co.nz.
- Hairmiles cannot be redeemed or transferred for cash.
- Blow wave Hairmiles can only be redeemed for the same type of service—i.e., Blow wave.
5. Lost or Damaged Cards
- Lost or damaged cards can be replaced after identity verification. A small fee applies for card replacement.
- Hairmiles points will be transferred to the new card upon confirmation of the cardholder’s identity.
6. Inactive Accounts
- Accounts with no activity for 24 consecutive months may be deactivated, and any unused rewards forfeited.
- Clients will be contacted using their last known contact details before deactivation occurs.
7. Program Changes
- Hair 2 Go reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Hairmiles loyalty program or these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
- If the program is discontinued, all accumulated points and rewards may be forfeited.
8. Privacy & Data Protection
- Only the primary cardholder’s personal information is collected (must be aged 16+); no data is collected from other family members.
- Information is used solely for operating the loyalty program and verifying client identity.
- Clients may opt in to receive marketing via email, SMS, or mail, and may opt out at any time by:
- Contacting Head Office, or
- Informing a staff member in-store.
- Client data is never sold or shared with third parties.
- Data is securely stored off-site on a private, encrypted network (not cloud-based).
- Only authorised staff may access client information, and all access is monitored and recorded.
9. Fraud Prevention
- Misuse of the program, including sharing cards with unrelated individuals or falsifying visits, may result in immediate termination of membership and forfeiture of all rewards.
- All system access is audited to ensure program integrity.
10. Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes regarding the Hairmiles program may be submitted by:
- Email, or
- Completing the contact form on our website.
- Hair 2 Go will investigate all matters in accordance with internal procedures and provide a response.
11. Termination & Data Removal
- Either the cardholder or Hair 2 Go may terminate participation in the program at any time.
- The primary cardholder may request that their data be updated or permanently deleted.
- Upon deletion, all associated Hairmiles and linked family rewards will be permanently removed.
- Data deletion requests undergo a verification process before being completed.
12. Limit of Liability
- Hair 2 Go is not responsible for delays, service interruptions, or data loss resulting from factors beyond our control.
- We will make reasonable efforts to resolve any technical issues or program-related errors promptly and fairly.
13. Governing Law
- These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
